OK, by now you've probably heard his single and and seen his music video for Brooklyn Girls(Great video and song). But I'm guessing you haven't delved deeper into the artist that is Charles Hamilton. He's got a Fatal attraction to pink(color), Sonic The Hedgehog and Rihanna(move over Chris). And he's got albums/mixtapes dedicated to all three of these(And one with each track named after a former girlfriend). Anyway The Pink Lavalamp is one of his more solid productions and I can't wait for his retail release.

Dude has a strange love for Rihanna dedicating entire albums to her(Well Isn't This Akward, but I ain't mad...I understand...
Also If you didn't notice, the chick at the end of Brooklyn Girls is a very prominent figure in a very prominenet business(He's got a song dedicated to her too!...)

Keri Hilson's Freshman debut. But don't turn it down to me it's one of the best debut albums from a relatively new R&B artist. After two full runthroughs I'd give it a 4 1/2 ★ out of 5. With her singles and mainstream tracks Turnin Me On, Knock You Down, and Return The Favor featuring Wayne, Kanye, & Timbo respectively and hidden gems like Slow Dance Where Did He Go, and Set Your Money Up, this album is loaded with hits enough to keep it spinning in your car, iPod, CD player (they still make those), or whatever people use to listen to music these days. A definite reccomend to a friend and suggest to you purchase if you can.

*Warning* - I can be very biased when suggesting music, I tend to listen to anything that makes noise, listen at your own risk!

OK, I know im late but a friend was playin this in his room and I immediately got hooked. KiD CuDi has been around, but ever since Kanye picked him up he's been gettin much better. Just listened to the album and I can say that I did not skip 1 track. He also mixes it up, not continually rapppin.

Oh and Cleveland Is The Reason is the song that got me hooked...

I too had thought Angel was resting her wings for a while but I guess she's back. Rockin her Halloween costume in December. Doesn't she know 'B' got WW on lock.
Anyway she's also dropping her own album. Not the usual R&B joint tho, a full blown RAP album. I know your from D.C. but DAMN!! you ain't gotta go that hard! I'm guessin maybe she'll get like 20 in sales, literally.

Nothin' new just sharin some stuff I found while wandering around the interweb.
Justice, (that's their groups name) two French dudes is quickly taking over the dance club scene. Working from their basement on simple equipment they created some delightfully "new-ish" music that you can sit down and enjoy, music where you don't have to listen to the lyrics or try to guess the featured artists.

"For their debut album Justice decided they needed to escape Xavier's bedroom. They rented a cheap basement in the centre of Paris and fixed it up a little. Gaspard: 'We made this album with equipment that everyone can afford. We don't have enough knowledge of sound engineering and things to use really fancy equipment. That's what makes it exciting for us.' And Lord, what excitement Justice serve up. ,'Genesis' kicks things off with a big fat squelch, before setting the ball rolling with 'Let There Be Light'. And you want your heart melted? Justice will do that too, with 'The Party'. It's a sweet and tender love song, featuring the reigning rude kid of the Paris hip hop/R&B scene, Uffie. 'å' is an pan-genre future-pop mash-up fun-rocket of an album: 'We tried to make something a bit universal in the feeling that you can hear by listening to the tracks. Some are happy, some are sad, some victorious. We didn't try to do mental music or show off our producing skills. It was just about emotion.' says Gaspard. Xavier: 'We are making music by chance, just because we did We Are You Friends - we didn't know we would be musicians for the next few years. We stared from zero. It's cool to arrive in a discipline and not know anything and just try to do things.' And so it came to pass: in the case of Justice and the boogie-down, hands up-in-the air brilliance of 'å', ignorance is bliss."

I Do It For Hip Hop

It amazes me how chill this track is yet the lyrics are still deep. From the many singles we've heard so far Theater Of The Mind is gonna be a solid album. And as the tag/DJ continually reminds you Theater Of The Mind drops November 24.

Thr33 Ringz

I broke down and actually purchased (a term seldomly used in blogger culture) T-Pain's Thr33 Ringz album that dropped Tuesday 11/11. (broke down is the incorrect term, as I have nothing better to do with my money, no girlfriend...)Pain's singles produced, and surprisingly/unsurprisingly the rest of the album delivered in all areas. I even spent the extra...$4.00 and got the "Deluxe Edition" with pop-up artwork, and 4 bonus tracks. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. If every artist produced artwork of this quality there would be no problem with online downloaders and leaked albums. Anyways you know what's good, click the pic.

At the BET Hip-Hop Awards the Jay Arra announced that he's expecting his own little Jay Arra "Any minute now". MTV also had the chance to speak with Lil Wayne at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and he said that he will be dropping a new version of Tha Carter III with brand new songs. He also made a point to emphasize that it won’t be Tha Carter IV and to keep the cornyness at a minimum let's not call it Tha Carter 3.5

Common - Universal Mind Control

Common's album Universal Mind Control was supposedly recorded for "summertime listening" but was pushed back from June, to September, to November 11th. That ain't summertime, and with times becoming harder maybe he should have released it in the summer. But with the weather starting to force people inside(car stereos & clubs), maybe it's for the best. And what's with all the robots maybe it's because people have to work like one to make a living nowadays.
