Ultra Thin Dell Adamo

Dell has granted my gadgets wishes three times over with This new "Thinner than Air" (no pun intended) netbook, it rivals all things considered sacred in laptop-land. No specs (to lazy) but you can see that they stuffed all the ports in its behind(ewww).
It looks great but how does it perform. You know these days its all about form over function, therefore to me it looks a little Apple-ish. anyway it looks great so far and I look forward to playing with one in Circu... er...B.. Best Buy.
*At least they give you an ethernet port.

Girls Team Murders Opponent 100-0

BEEEERRRNT!

Its halftime at the girls basketball game. Christian Covenant 59, Dallas Academy "0". Yes that's not a mistake, I didn't forget the "6" that is the true score of the game.
The Covenant girls had no mercy and continued to hit tre's in the fourth quarter while already up 80. Not until they hit 100 did they realize what they had done. Maybe it was the full-court press, maybe it was the 8 veteran girls on Covenant, OR maybe it was that Dallas Academy specializes on teaching kids with "learning differences".

Though they were being destroyed the Dallas girls kept their heads up and kept fighting. Shelby Hyatt, a freshman on the Dallas team said

"Even if you are losing, you might as well keep playing, Keep trying, and it's going to be OK."

Since then the Christian Covenant have requested for a forfeit, statin their performance was un-christ-like, and that such a victory was a major loss in its own.

Weekly Feature: BLACK PRESIDENT

Well as we all know Bar... Wait. Hold on. I know there's some ignorant people out there so let me rephrase myself. On Tuesday January 20th Barack Obama was sworn in as the United States 44th President. OK, now on to our regularly scheduled programming.

wrote and posted this poem that really embodied what went on that historical and inspirational day, so I just wanted to make sure it was heard, read or however you'd like to ingest it that it got out there. Anyway it was better than the one read on inauguration.

50 years ago, we were fighting for civil rights
